Reimagining India November 2017
India is not to be underestimated, nor casually compared to its neighbouring Asian countries. I found much about the country confronting, beautiful and curious. India’s unique political, social and economic complexities challenged previously held assumptions and forced me to question much of what I knew about not just this country but of my studies in international relations.

The IndoGenius program offers students the opportunity to be in immersed in what some might deem "a whole different world". This is by far one of the best ways to take one's education outside of the classroom and learn how to be a citizen of the world.

Make in India 2015
I would not have enjoyed two weeks at an Indian university because I do not believe that we would have gotten a real taste of the industry or India itself. There is only so much a classroom can teach you. I think to work in or visit India you need to have more of an understanding of its cultures, customs and people.

Reimagining India February 2018
My participation in the program has generated a deeper interest in the way my subject, institutionalised psychology, is taught and practiced. The program gave me an incredibly comprehensive introduction to India. The program has made me more open and aware, has given me an openness to ideas - I feel I'm able to see alternative points of view and sometimes grasp the potential in an idea, and I attribute that in part to my time in India which encouraged me to continually search for ways of thinking that might be hidden.

The program provided a multi-dimensional view of India, one that wove together the social, cultural and political fabric of an extremely complex, but equally fascinating, culture. Experiencing the different structures of Indian society, how lives are lived at all levels from rich to poor, city to village, was a far more effective method than spending all our time at a university.
