Join IndoGenius as we explore the world’s largest democracy’s many interfaces between individuals and the organizations and political parties created to serve them while meeting with party and organizational leaders, political analysts, activist groups, grassroots stakeholders and political science students to learn about political parties, election campaigns and polls, political issues of debate, local representation, and forms of political protest. We will also learn about e-governance and uses of mobile technology and social media to increase public participation in politics and discuss ways in which India can achieve optimal governance at various levels that will empower people and politicians to work together to confront global challenges.Also, enjoy a range of cultural outings, performances and events that help contextualize your program learning.
